With Haiku arriving in theatres today, October 23, producers Dr. D. With initial screen counts planned for a specific number, the demand increased due to positive response, thereby getting 450+ Screens in South India. This response has added to their excitement as the romantic entertainer begins its theatrical run.
Expressing their gratitude to the team and reflecting on the current theatrical landscape, the producers say, “It is always special to bring a feel-good love story to audiences, and we are happy with the positive response Haiku has received from the early previews. This film has been a collective effort, and we thank director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, the cast and crew, and everyone who worked with dedication to bring it to life. We would also like to express our gratitude to B. Sakthivelan and Sakthi Film Factory for supporting the film’s release in Tamil Nadu. With the impact of Jailer 2 continuing in theatres, it is wonderful to be a producer in Tamil cinema and witness a healthy theatrical environment where films of different kinds are being welcomed by audiences. This diversity is encouraging for the industry, and we hope Haiku finds its own special connection with viewers.”
Written and directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, Haiku features Aegan, Sridevi and Femina George in the lead roles, alongside Adirchi Arun, Subramaniya Sethu, Adhiyaman, Mime Gopi and Indhumathi Manigandan, among others.
