கொச்சி- முசிரிஸ் (Biennale) பீனாலே பருவத்ததின்  வண்ணத்தை  சேர்க்கிறது

கேரளா சுற்றுலா: கோடை விடுமுறைக்கு முன்னதாக இந்தியா முழுவதும் பிரச்சாரம் மற்றும் முக்கிய நகரங்களில் ரோட் ஷோ நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

கொச்சி – முசிரிஸ் (Biennale) பீனாலே இந்தியாவின் மிக முக்கியமான கலாச்சார நிகழ்வுகளில் ஒன்றாகவும், சமகால
கலையின் உலகளாவிய தளமாகவும் உருவெடுத்துள்ளது, ஒவ்வொருமுறையும்   இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் கொச்சியை உயிரோட்டமான கலாச்சார இலக்காக மாற்றுகிறது. பழங்கால பின்னணியில் உள்ள ஃபோர்ட் கொச்சி மற்றும் சுற்றியுள்ள பாரம்பரிய பகுதிகளுக்கு மத்தியில் அமைந்த இந்த பீனாலே(Biennale), கலை, வரலாறு, சுற்றுலாவை இணைத்து, நாட்டில் வேறு எதிலும் இல்லாத அளவு   மூழ்கிய கலாச்சார அனுபவத்தை பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு வழங்குகிறது.
இந்தியாவின் மிகப்பெரிய மற்றும் தென் ஆசியாவின் முக்கியமான சமகால கலை நிகழ்வான கொச்சி – முசிரிஸ் (Biennale)   பீனாலே (KMB) மார்ச் 31 வரை நடைபெறுகிறது. உலகம் முழுவதிலிருந்தும் வந்த முன்னணி கலை வெளிப்பாடுகள், கொச்சி நகரின் பரவியுள்ள பாரம்பரிய இடங்களில் காட்சியிடப்படுகின்றன. கொச்சி– முசிரிஸ் (Biennale)    பீனாலே, கலாச்சாரம் வழிநடத்தும் சுற்றுலா எவ்வாறு பாரம்பரிய இடங்களை மீட்டெடுக்க, படைப்பாற்றல் பொருளாதாரத்தை ஊக்குவிக்க, மற்றும் ஒரு இலக்கத்தின் உலகளாவிய குணத்தை உயர்த்தக்கூடும் என்பதற்கான சக்திவாய்ந்த எடுத்துக்காட்டாக அமைந்துள்ளது“பயணத்தின் மையத்தில் கலை அடையச் செய்கிறது” இந்த பீனாலே, கொச்சியின் அடையாளத்தை வலுப்படுத்துகிறது—வரலாறு, படைப்பாற்றல் “மற்றும் நவீன சிந்தனைகள்” ஒன்று சேர்ந்த இந்த நகரத்தில், பயணிகளை பாரம்பரியத்திற்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட கேரளாவை கலை மற்றும் கலாச்சாரத்தின் பார்வையால் அனுபவிக்க அழைக்கிறது.**
“அனுபவமிக்க சுற்றுலா இலக்காக, கோவை வெளியான பின்னர் கேரளா வருகை தரும் பயணிகளின் எண்ணிக்கையில் பெரிய வளர்ச்சி கண்டுள்ளது. அதன் பிரதான அம்சங்களைத் தவிர, புதிய தயாரிப்புகளும் உள்ளூர் மற்றும் வெளிநாட்டு பயணிகளிடமிருந்து நல்ல வரவேற்பை பெற்றுள்ளன. வரும் வருகை பருவமும் இந்த போக்கை தொடரும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது,” என்று சுற்றுலா அமைச்சர் திரு பி. ஏ. முகமது ரியாஸ் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

விரைவில் வரும் கோடை விடுமுறை பருவத்தில் பயணிகளுக்கு புதிய ஈர்ப்பை உருவாக்கும் நோக்கில், கேரளா சுற்றுலாத்துறை, ஜனவரி முதல் மார்ச் மாதங்கள் வரை, நாட்டின் முக்கிய நகரங்களில் தொடர்ச்சியான ரோட் ஷோக்களை நடத்தவுள்ளதோடு, முன்னணி வர்த்தக காட்சிகளிலும் பங்கேற்க உள்ளது.

ஜனவரி 20 அன்று சென்னை மற்றும் ஜனவரி 22 அன்று பெங்களூரில் நடைபெறும் ஒரு பார்ட்னர் ஃபீட் மூலம் தொடங்கி, கேரளா சுற்றுலாத்துறை அடுத்த இரண்டு மாதங்களில் ஹைதராபாத், கொல்கத்தா, லக்னோ மற்றும் இந்தூரில் B2B சந்திப்புகளை நடத்தவுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் புதிய தயாரிப்புகளையும் அனுபவமிக்க பயணத்தையும் பரந்த பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்தி, உள்ளூர் சுற்றுலாபயணிகளின் வருகையை அதிகரிக்க நோக்கமாக உள்ளது.

வருகிற ரோட் ஷோக்கள், ஜனவரி 20 அன்று நியூ டெல்லியில் கேரளா சுற்றுலாத்துறை தொடங்கவுள்ள ஆல்-இந்தியா லென்ஸ்கேப் கேரளா புகைப்படக் கண்காட்சியுடன் هم நேர்கின்றன. கேரளாவின் பல்வேறு அழகுகளை வெளிப்படுத்தும் ஒரு நகரும் மேடையாக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட இந்த கண்காட்சி, இந்தியாவின் முன்னணி 10 பயண புகைப்பட கலைஞர்களின் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட 100 புகைப்படங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது.

கோடை பருவத்தில் பயணிகளை ஈர்க்கும் கேரளாவின் மற்றொரு வருடாந்திர கலாச்சார நிகழ்ச்சி ‘நிஷாகந்தி நடன விழா’ ஆகும். இந்த விழா, புனிதமான கலாச்சார நிகழ்வாக, தலைநகரில் பிப்ரவரி மாதம் நடைபெறவுள்ளது. இதில் ஓடிசி , கதகலி, பாரதநாட்டியம் போன்ற பாரம்பரிய நடனங்களைக் கொண்ட சிறப்பான நிகழ்ச்சிகள் காட்சியிடப்படும்.

கேரளா, குறிப்பாக வடக்குக் கேரளா பகுதிகளில் உள்ள கோழிக்கோடு, வயநாடு மற்றும் பெக்கல் போன்ற புதிய இலக்குகளை முன்னிறுத்தும். குறைந்தது அறியப்பட்ட இடங்களுக்கு மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட அடித்தளம் மற்றும் பரம்பரிய ஓடை/கடற்கரை அனுபவத்தை தாண்டிய செயல்பாடுகள் ஆகியவற்றையும் காட்சிப்படுத்தும். அதில் சாகசப் பயணங்கள் (சர்ஃபிங், சைக்கிளிங், பராகிளைடிங், மலை சைக்கிளிங்), நலன் (ஆயுர்வேதா), விருப்பமான வசதி மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம் (திருமணங்கள், MICE) போன்ற தீம்களை கொண்டு நகர்ப்புற குடும்பங்களை இலக்காக வைத்து, உள்ளூர் சுற்றுலாபயணிகளை ஈர்க்க நோக்கமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பாரம்பரிய சுற்றுலாவை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக, இந்த மாதத் தொடக்கத்தில் மாநிலம், முசிரிஸ் ஹெரிடேஜ் திட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, வடக்கில் கசரகோடு முதல் தென்னில் கோல்லம் வரை பரவியுள்ள 33 பாரம்பரிய பாதைகளைக் தொடங்கியுள்ளது.புதிய பருவங்களில் மேம்படுத்தப்பட்ட வசதிகளை முன்னிறுத்துவதோடு, கேரளாவை பாதுகாப்பான சுற்றுலா இலக்காக முன்னிறுத்தப்படும்.

வருகிற விடுமுறை பருவத்தில் சர்வதேச முன்பதிவுகளிலும் அதிகரிப்பு எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. 2026ஆம் ஆண்டில் உலகின் 26 முக்கிய சுற்றுலா இலக்குகளாக உள்ள Rough Guides பட்டியலில் மாநிலம் இடம் பெற்றதன் மூலம், கேரளாவின் முக்கிய சுற்றுலா இலக்காக உள்ள தரநிலைக்கு சமீபத்தில் பெரும் ஊக்கம் வழங்கப்பட்டது.மாநிலம், தனது ஆயுர்வேத பாரம்பரியங்கள் மற்றும் ஒருங்கிணைந்த சிகிச்சை திறனுக்கு புகழ்பெற்றதைக் காணும் வகையில், 2025ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான Travel + Leisure India’s Best Wellness Destination Award-யை வென்றுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் உலகளாவிய அளவில் முக்கியமான நலன் சுற்றுலா இலக்காக கேரளாவின் நிலை உறுதிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சுற்றுலா ஆர்வலர்களுக்கு ஹவுஸ்‌போட்டுகள் , பயணி விடுதிகள், தோட்ட பார்வைகள், காட்டுப் பூங்காக்கள், ஹோம்ஸ்டே, ஆயுர்வேதத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட நலன் தீர்வுகள், சாகச செயல்பாடுகள் மற்றும் பசுமை மலைகளுக்கு பயணங்கள் உள்ளிட்ட கிராமப்புற நடைபயணங்கள் போன்ற பல்வேறு அனுபவங்களை வழங்குவதில் கேரளா உலகளாவிய புகழ்பெற்றது.

The Kochi–Muziris Biennale has emerged as one of India’s most significant cultural events and a global platform for contemporary art, transforming Kochi into a vibrant cultural destination every two years. Set against the historic backdrop of Fort Kochi and surrounding heritage precincts, the Biennale seamlessly blends art, history, and tourism, offering visitors an immersive cultural experience unlike any other in the country.

India’s largest and South Asia’s most significant contemporary art event, KMB will continue till March 31, showcasing cutting-edge artistic expressions from around the world in heritage venues spread across the city of Kochi. The Kochi–Muziris Biennale stands as a powerful example of how culture-led tourism can revitalize heritage spaces, foster creative economies, and elevate a destination’s global image. By placing art at the heart of travel, the Biennale reinforces Kochi’s identity as a city where history, creativity, and contemporary thought converge—inviting travellers to experience Kerala beyond the conventional, through the lens of art and culture.

“As an experiential tourism destination, Kerala has witnessed a big surge in arrivals in the post-Covid years.  Apart from its core assets, new products have also received a good response from both domestic and foreign tourists. The ensuing in-bound season is expected to keep up this trend,” Tourism Minister Shri P A Mohamed Riyas said.

Seeking to whip up new resonance with tourists for the fast-approaching summer holiday season, Kerala Tourism will organize a string of roadshows in prominent cities of the country and also participate in leading trade fairs during January-March.

Starting with a Partnership Meet in Chennai on January 20 and in Bengaluru on January 22, Kerala Tourism will hold B2B meets in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Indore as well during the next two months to introduce its new products and experiential travel to a wider audience and increase domestic tourist footfalls.

Upcoming roadshows also coincide with the all-India Lenscape Kerala photo exhibition, to be opened by Kerala Tourism in New Delhi on January 20. The exhibition, designed as a moving platform to showcase diverse charms of Kerala, features 100 curated frames by India’s10 leading travel photographers. 

Another annual cultural event of Kerala that attracts travellers during the season is the ‘Nishagandhi Dance Festival’, which will be held in February in the capital city, as a stellar cultural event featuring classical dances like Odissi, Kathakali and Bharatnatyam.

Kerala will highlight new destinations, especially those of North Kerala like Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Bekal, improved infrastructure for lesser-known spots, and activities beyond typical backwaters/beaches, targeting urban families with themes of adventure (surfing, cycling, paragliding, mountain biking), wellness (Ayurveda), luxury, and culture (destination weddings, MICE) to attract domestic travellers for the season.

Ramping up heritage tourism, the state earlier this month rolled out 33 heritage trails stretching across the state from up north Kasaragod to Kollam in the south as part of its Muziris Heritage Project.

Besides emphasizing improved facilities in emerging areas, Kerala will be projected as a safe destination.

An upswing in international bookings are also expected in the upcoming holiday season.
Kerala’s credentials as a major tourist destination got a major boost recently with the state featuring in Rough Guides’ 26 travel destinations in the world in 2026.

The state also won the Travel + Leisure India’s Best Wellness Destination Award for 2025, in a testament to its reputation for Ayurvedic traditions and holistic healing, cementing its position as a premier wellness tourism spot globally.

Kerala is internationally acclaimed for providing a variety of experiences for travel enthusiasts like houseboats, caravan stays, plantation visits, jungle resorts, homestays, Ayurveda-based wellness solutions, adventure activities and countryside walks, including trekking to verdant hills.

Alongside the new projects, the state’s core assets like beaches, hill stations, houseboats and backwater segment will heighten the totality of the visitors’ experience.

கிராமப்புற மக்களின் வாழ்வியல் கலாச்சாரம் மற்றும் பண்பாட்டை பிரதிபலிக்கும் வகையில் உருவாகும் ‘அறுவடை’ படத்தின் சார்பில் கோயம்புத்தூரில் பொங்கல் விழா கொண்டாடிப் படப்பிடிப்பை முடித்துள்ளனர்.

அறுவடைத் திருநாள் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் பொங்கல் திருநாளில் பொங்கல் விழா கொண்டாடி ‘அறுவடை’ படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பை நிறைவு செய்துள்ளனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

படத்தைப் பற்றி இயக்குநர் பேசுகையில்,

” ஒரு சாதாரண மனிதனின் வீட்டில் நடைபெறும் ஒரு சிறிய பிரச்சினை, மிகப்பெரிய சிக்கலாக உருவெடுத்து சமூகத்தை எப்படி சீரழிக்கிறது என்பதை விவரிக்கும் வகையில் இப்படத்தின் திரைக்கதை அமைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. ‘வினை விதைத்தவன் வினை அறுப்பான்’ என்ற ஒரு தத்துவத்தை மையப்படுத்தி இப்படத்திற்கு ‘அறுவடை’ என பெயரிட்டிருக்கிறோம். விரைவில் படத்தை வெளியிட உள்ளோம் ” என்றார்.

பத்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக திரைத்துறையில் நடிகராக வலம் வரும் ரிச்சர்ட் ரிஷி, சவாலான கதைகள் மற்றும் கதாபாத்திரங்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து தனது திறமையை நிரூபித்து வருகிறார். காதல் நாயகனாக தனது திரைப்பயணத்தை தொடங்கிய அவர், பின்னர் வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்து, ஒரு சிறந்த நடிகராக தன்னை நிலைநிறுத்திக் கொண்டுள்ளார். தற்போது, வரலாற்றுப் படமான ‘திரௌபதி 2’ மூலம் இதுவரை காணாத வீரத் தோற்றத்தில் ரசிகர்களை திரையில் சந்திக்க உள்ளார். ஜனவரி 23 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள திரையரங்குகளில் ’திரெளபதி 2’ திரைப்படம் வெளியாக இருக்கும் நிலையில் படம் குறித்தான அனுபவங்களை ரிச்சர்ட் ரிஷி பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார்.

“’திரௌபதி 2’ படத்தில் மன்னர் வீர சிம்ம கடவராயனாக நடித்திருப்பது என் வாழ்க்கையின் முக்கிய திருப்புமுனை. இது வெறும் நடிப்பு அல்ல; தமிழ்நாட்டில் ரத்தம் சிந்திய வீரமும் தியாகமும் நிறைந்த வரலாற்றிற்கு உயிர் கொடுத்திருக்கும் அனுபவம். இயக்குநர் மோகன் ஜியின் ‘திரௌபதி 2’ சினிமா என்பதைத் தாண்டி வரலாற்றின் மறுபிறப்பாக உள்ளது. ’திரௌபதி’ படத்திற்கு பிறகு அவருடன் மீண்டும் பணியாற்றுவது, நம்பிக்கையுள்ள தளபதியுடன் மீண்டும் போர்க்களம் சென்ற அனுபவம் போல இருந்தது” என்றார்.

மேலும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டதாவது, “இசையமைப்பாளர் ஜிப்ரானின் இசை பேரரசர்களின் ஆன்மாவை உலுக்கும் வகையில் அமைந்துள்ளது. ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் பிலிப் கே. சுந்தரின் ஒளிப்பதிவு அரச கம்பீரத்தை அழகாகப் பதிவு செய்கிறது. ஆக்‌ஷன் சந்தோஷ் அமைத்த போர் காட்சிகள் வரலாற்று காவியங்களுக்கு இணையானவை. ரக்ஷனா இந்துசூடன், நட்டி நட்ராஜ், வேல ராமமூர்த்தி ஆகியோருடன் இணைந்து நடித்தது ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியையும் மேலும் சிறப்பாக்கியுள்ளது. ‘திரௌபதி 2’ வரலாற்று திரைப்படம் என்பதைத் தாண்டி, நம் முன்னோர்களின் மறைக்கப்பட்ட போர்க்குரலை மீண்டும் உயிர்ப்பிக்கும் ஒரு வரலாற்றுப் பயணம். நேதாஜி புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்த படம், தலைமுறைகள் கடந்து ஒலிக்கும் தமிழ் சினிமாவின் மிகத் துணிச்சலான வரலாற்றுக் காவியமாக இருக்கும். ஆரம்பம் முதல் இறுதி வரை ரசிகர்களை கட்டிப்போடும் அனைத்து அம்சங்களுடனும் இந்த படம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது” என்றார்.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad, who has ruled the music industry for decades with his chartbuster albums, is finally stepping in front of the camera. His long-awaited debut as a lead actor has generated immense curiosity, and he has chosen a subject that aligns perfectly with his energy and creative persona. Apart from playing the protagonist, DSP is also composing the film’s music.

Yellamma is set against the backdrop of a divine force and draws heavily from native traditions, folklore, and cultural beliefs. On the auspicious occasion of Makara Sankranthi, the makers unveiled the first glimpse, offering a taste of the film’s mystical world and emotional depth.

The glimpse opens with a lone neem leaf caught in a swirling vortex, suddenly shooting skyward. A goat watches intently as the scene turns intense. In the next moment, a man charges in with ankle bells ringing, while another rushes from the opposite side in rugged shoes. The neem leaf rises above the clouds and transforms into the divine presence of the Mother Goddess. Rain crashes down, drenching the earth- prompting the goat to shake off its soaked wings in a sudden flutter.

ஒரு சுழலில் சிக்கிய தனித்த வேப்பிலை திடீரென வானத்தை நோக்கி பாய்வதுடன் தற்போது வெளியாகியுள்ள கிளிம்ப்ஸ் தொடங்குகிறது. அதனை ஒரு ஆடு உற்றுநோக்குகிறது. அடுத்த கணமே, கால்களில் சலங்கை ஒலிக்க ஓர் ஆள் ஓடிவர, மறுபுறம் கரடுமுரடான செருப்புடன் இன்னொருவர் பாய்ந்து வருகிறார். மேகங்களை தாண்டி உயர்ந்த அந்த இலை, தாய் தெய்வத்தின் தெய்வீக வடிவமாக மாறுகிறது. கனமழை பூமியை நனைக்க, அதில் நனைந்த ஆடு தலையசைக்கிறது.

புயலின் நடுவே, மரத்தடியில் அரிவாள் சாய்ந்து கிடக்க, மேல்சட்டை இல்லாத ஓர் ஆள் இடுப்பில் பறை கட்டி, பாறையில் அமர்கிறார். மிதந்துவந்த அந்த வேப்பிலை அவரின் பின்னால் வந்து மெதுவாக இறங்குகிறது. அவர் திரும்பும் தருணத்தில், பர்ஷி என்ற கதாபாத்திரத்தில் தேவி ஸ்ரீ பிரசாத் முழு கம்பீரத்துடன் வெளிப்படுகிறார்.

The highly awaited Pan-India venture #PuriSethupathi, featuring the explosive collaboration of dashing director Puri Jagannadh and powerhouse performer Vijay Sethupathi, is presently in the post-production phase, with the shooting part already wrapped up. The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under Puri Connects, along with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla of JB Motion Pictures.

On the occasion of Vijay Sethupathi’s birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s title and first-look poster. Titled powerfully Slum Dog, with the tagline- 33 Temple Road, the first look poster features Vijay Sethupathi in a wild avatar, with disheveled hair and beard framing his intense look, donning a beggar’s outfit with a flowing scarf and boots, as he grips a massive sickle raised high amid stacks of cash fluttering chaotically in a dimly lit, fog-shrouded slum. The title and first look certainly build massive hype for this action entertainer.

Puri Jagannadh is known for reinventing his heroes with strikingly unique makeovers, and Slum Dog is no exception. Vijay Sethupathi steps into a never-before-seen avatar, playing a character unlike anything, he has attempted in his career so far.

Samyuktha is the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the movie, while Tabu and Duniya Vijay Kumar play key roles. Expect laughs galore with Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh in hilarious roles.
