Team Unveils His Striking Poster on the Occasion of His Birthday
When vision converges with artistry, the outcome is nothing short of extraordinary. J.K. Film International J Kamalakannan, which has entered the film production with a sheer commitment to producing content-driven films, has already stirred anticipation with its forthcoming venture. The untitled project, helmed by director Dharani Rasendran, acclaimed for his critically lauded and commercially successful Yaathisai, now attains greater significance with the arrival of filmmaker-actor Sasikumar in a pivotal role. Marking his birthday, the team has unveiled a distinguished poster in his honour.
“It feels like a crowning moment for our project, rather than merely an icing on the cake,” excitedly claims director Dharani Rasendran, expressing his delight at Sasikumar’s gracious acceptance to be a part of this movie. He continues, “In this story, set against the backdrop of the British era, he will embody an INA officer. We are preparing to film compelling action sequences that will be one of the intriguing attractions of this film.”
Reflecting on the casting choice, Dharani Rasendran remarks, “We could not imagine anyone else for this role. Sasikumar sir carries with him a gravitas that elevates a film’s very essence. While we were uncertain if he would accept, particularly after the resounding success of Tourist Family, he surprised us with his immediate affirmation upon hearing the script and his character.”
With 70 per cent of filming already completed, J.K. Film International is shaping this untitled production on a grand scale.
The ensemble cast features Seyon, Bhavani Sre, Samuthirakani, Shivadha, and Kishore, among others. On this special occasion, the team extends its warmest wishes to Sasikumar and looks forward to revealing further details of the project in due course.
