இந்தியாவின் முன்னணி உணவக நிறுவனங்களில் ஒன்றான வசந்த பவன் ஹோட்டல்ஸ் இந்தியா பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் சார்பில், ஊழியர்களுக்கான சிறப்பு ரத்ததான முகாம் சென்னை சாலிகிராமத்தில் உள்ள விபி வேர்ல்டு (VB World) வளாகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த முகாமில் 400-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஊழியர்கள் ஆர்வத்துடன் பங்கேற்று ரத்ததானம் செய்தனர்.
செப்டம்பர் 22 (செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை) காலை 10 மணி முதல் மாலை 4 மணி வரை நடைபெற்ற இந்த ரத்ததான முகாம், சமூக நலனுக்கு பங்களிக்கும் நோக்கிலும், ஊழியர்களிடையே தன்னார்வ ரத்ததானத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது. கடந்த ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளாக தொடர்ந்து மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் இந்த முன்னெடுப்பு, சமூக அக்கறை மற்றும் சேவை மனப்பான்மையை வளர்ப்பதில் வசந்த பவனின் தொடர்ச்சியான செயல்பாடுகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டும் வகையில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
இந்த நிகழ்வில் வசந்த பவன் ஹோட்டல்ஸ் இந்தியா பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் திரு. ரவி முத்துக்கிருஷ்ணன் பங்கேற்றார். நிறுவனத்தின் இயக்குநர் திருமதி ரிஷிதா ரெட்டியும் முகாமில் கலந்து கொண்டார்.

“இந்த ரத்ததான முகாமில் 400-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட ஊழியர்கள் பங்கேற்றிருப்பது மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியளிக்கிறது. ஊழியர்களின் ஆர்வமும் சமூக அக்கறையும் இந்த முயற்சியின் வெற்றிக்கு முக்கிய காரணமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. இதை மேலும் விரிவுபடுத்தும் வகையில், அடுத்த கட்டமாக 1,000 ரத்ததானங்களை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு செயல்பட்டு வருகிறோம். மேலும் பல ஊழியர்கள் தன்னார்வத்துடன் முன்வந்து இந்த நற்பணியில் இணைவார்கள் என நம்புகிறோம்,” என்று அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
“ரத்தம் கொடுப்போம்; நம்பிக்கையை வழங்குவோம்” என்ற கருத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்ட இந்த முயற்சி, ஒருவரின் சிறிய பங்களிப்புகூட உதவி தேவைப்படும் மற்றொருவரின் வாழ்க்கையில் மிகப்பெரிய நம்பிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்த முடியும் என்பதை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது.
இத்தகைய சமூக அக்கறை கொண்ட செயல்பாடுகள் மூலம், ஊழியர்களை பணிக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டு சமூகத்தின் நலனுக்காக பங்களிக்கவும் வசந்த பவன் தொடர்ந்து ஊக்குவித்து வருகிறது.

India’s leading restaurant chain Vasanta Bhavan Hotels India Pvt. Ltd. organised a Staff Blood Donation Drive at VB World, Saligramam, Chennai, bringing together more than 400 staff members in support of voluntary blood donation and community welfare.
Held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 22 (Tuesday), the initiative reflects Vasanta Bhavan’s continued commitment to encouraging its employees to contribute to meaningful social causes. The blood donation drive is being conducted regularly over the past five years as part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of compassion and community service.
The event was attended and supported by Mr. Ravi Muthukrishnan, Chairman, Vasanta Bhavan Hotels India Pvt. Ltd., who participated in the blood donation initiative along with Ms. Rishitha Reddy, Director, Vasanta Bhavan Hotels India Pvt. Ltd.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ravi Muthukrishnan, Chairman, Vasanta Bhavan Hotels India Pvt. Ltd., highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and the role that collective participation can play in supporting patients and healthcare needs in the community. “With 400+ staff members participating in the drive, the initiative witnessed enthusiastic support from employees across the organisation. As part of its continued efforts to expand the initiative, Vasanta Bhavan is working towards a target of 1,000 blood donors in the next edition, encouraging more employees to come forward and be part of the cause,” he added.
The initiative carries forward the message: “Give Blood. Give Hope.” Through such programmes, Vasanta Bhavan continues to encourage its team members to make a positive difference in society with a valuable contribution.
