கர்நாடக இசை மேதை.. சுதா ரகுநாதன் பாடிய கானா பாடல் !*

இயக்குனர் சிம்பு தேவனின் அடுத்த படத்தில் யோகி பாபு நடிக்கிறார். மூன்று வாரங்களுக்கு முன்பு இப்படத்தின் டைட்டில் ‘போட்- நெய்தல் கதை’என அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. மாலி அண்ட் மாண்வி மூவி மேக்கர்ஸ் சார்பாக பிரபா பிரேம்குமார் இப்படத்தை தயாரிக்கிறார். ஜிப்ரான் இசையமைக்கிறார். இப்படம் முழுக்க முழுக்க கடலிலேயே எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இப்படத்தில் நாயகி நாயகனை நோக்கி ஒரு கானா பாடல் பாடுவது போன்ற சூழல். அதற்கு ஜிப்ரான் டியூன் போட.. இப்பாடலை கர்நாடக இசையரசி பத்மபூஷன் – சுதா ரகுநாதன் பாடினால் நன்றாக இருக்கும் என இசையமைப்பாளரும் இயக்குனரும் விரும்பியுள்ளனர்.

இதற்காக சுதா ரகுநாதனை அணுகியுள்ளனர். அவர் வியப்புடன் “எனக்காக ஒரு கானா பாடலை யோசித்தது ஆரோக்கியமான பரிசோதனை முயற்சி! இசை என்பது ஒலி வடிவமே. நிச்சயம் நான் பாடுகிறேன். ஆனால் நான் லண்டனிலிருந்து இந்தியா திரும்ப மூன்று மாதம் ஆகும்!”என்று கூறினாராம்.

பரவாயில்லை என பட குழுவினர் மூன்று மாதம் காத்திருந்து அவர் சென்னை திரும்பியதும் பாடல் பதிவை நடத்தியுள்ளனர். பாடலாசிரியர் வடசென்னையைச் சேர்ந்த கோல்ட் தேவராஜ்.ரெக்கார்டிங் முடித்துவிட்டு தனக்கு பாடல் மிகவும் பிடித்துள்ளதாக ஜிப்ரானை பாராட்டினாராம் சுதா ரகுநாதன்! ‘போட்’ திரைப்படத்தை வரும் நவம்பர் மாதம் ரிலீஸ் செய்ய திட்டமிட்டுள்ளனர்.

*Carnatic music maestro… Sudha Ragunathan sung a gaanaa song..*

Director Chimbudeven’s next film features Yogi Babu in a lead role. Before three weeks, the title of this film was revealed as ‘BOAT – Neythal Kathai’. ‘Maali & Maanvi Movie Makers’ Prabha Premkumar producing this movie. Ghibran is composing the music. The film has been shot entirely at sea.

In this film, there is a Situation where the heroine Sings Gaana song for the hero. Ghibran composed the tune. Director & music director thought, song will come out better if carnatic music queen Padma Bhushan Sudha Ragunathan sings this Gaana song.

Sudha Ragunathan was approached by film crew. With a smile, she said, ‘Attempting to sing a Gaana song for me is a healthy experiment! Music has no barriers. I will definitely sing. But I will be in India from London after three months!’

Without any hindrance, the film crew waited for three months and recorded the song when she returned to Chennai. Sudha Ragunathan got impressed & liked the song after completed the recording, also appreciated music director Ghibran. The ‘BOAT’ film is scheduled to be released in November.
