Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana appreciated Varahi Conclave on the day of Mother’s Day

Women Physicians with the latest treatment trends in various disciplines such as fertility, fetal care, urinary incontinence, aesthetic gynaecology, uterine transplantation, onco diagnostics, hormonal imbalances, and more, was held at Raja Annamalai Mandram, Chennai, today. More than 1000 women doctors were present at the conclave to refresh their knowledge and exchange their experience in women’s healthcare.
The event was graced by Chief Guest – Dr (Smt) Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, and Special Guest – Dr Kanimozhi. NVN Somu, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Government of India, also attended the conclave. Dr Soundararajan highlighted the importance of accessible and affordable healthcare for mothers and women in the community. Dr Kanimozhi emphasized the significance of platforms like Varahi in conjunction with the excellent path-breaking strides the government is making to prioritize Women’s Health and Welfare. She also explained the various schemes the Government of Tamil Nadu has implemented to achieve this.
The Varahi Conclave allowed women physicians to gain immense knowledge about the latest treatment methods adopted by super specialists in various disciplines. The name ‘Varahi’ was apt as it was intended to empower family physicians to gain immense knowledge. The conclave provided a seamless transfer of knowledge from eminent and practising super specialists across the dais.
Overall, the organizers of the Varahi Conclave 2023 – LN Healthcare stated that the conference was a great success and has set the benchmark for future medical conferences. The event has played an instrumental role in empowering women physicians to provide better healthcare services to women across India.
