The makers of Vijay Antony’s much-awaited “Appa Kutty” have officially announced that the film will release worldwide in theatres on October 16, 2026.
Directed by Mu. Maran, Appa Kutty is an action family drama that brings together powerful emotions, family values and gripping action. At the heart of the film is the unconditional love and unbreakable bond shared between a father and his daughter, forming the emotional core of the story.
Vijay Antony headlines the film in a role that blends emotional depth with his action-oriented screen presence. The film promises to present a wholesome theatrical experience with heartfelt family moments, engaging drama and commercial elements.
The film’s previously unveiled second-look poster, featuring Vijay Antony alongside a young girl, offered audiences a glimpse into the tender father-daughter relationship around which the story revolves and received attention for its warm and emotional presentation.
With post-production completed, the team is now gearing up for an extensive promotional campaign ahead of the film’s October 16 worldwide release.
