7-YEAR-OLD ROOHI MOHAZZAB MEETS HON’BLE VICE PRESIDENT OF INDIA

Seven-year-old Roohi Mohazzab, a young environmental voice from Kozhikode and a World’s Youngest United Nations Keynote Speaker, World’s Youngest Environmentalist and Climate Actionist, had an inspiring meeting with the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan Ji, at Lok Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
The Hon’ble Vice President warmly received Roohi and showed keen interest in her initiatives promoting tree protection, paper conservation, recycling, climate compassion and children’s environmental action.
Roohi presented her message “SAVE PAPER • SAVE TREES • SAVE EARTH” and shared her vision for Roohi’s Paper Bank, encouraging children and schools to collect and recycle used paper.

and signed her recycled-paper notebook. He also graciously accepted a plant pot and an artwork presented by Roohi expressing compassion and solidarity with Nepal.
Her compassion for Nepal has also inspired her to take action. Deeply moved by the recent floods in Nepal and their impact on children, trees and communities, Roohi hopes to visit the affected areas, support the children and participate in planting and protecting trees as part of her message of compassion, restoration and hope.
“CHILDREN FOR CLIMATE PEACE”
Roohi’s vision is now expanding beyond tree protection into a children-led movement for climate compassion, international cooperation and peace, focusing on forests, water, biodiversity, responsible consumption and protection of Earth’s shared resources.
Her emerging message is:
“Can children from different countries work together to protect the resources that humanity must share peacefully?”
Through The Children Movement for Climate Compassion Foundation, Roohi envisions initiatives including Tree Bank Nurseries, Roohi’s Paper Bank and cross-border children’s environmental projects, with a long-term vision of cooperation among children across 195 countries.
“I may be only a child, but I believe every child can help protect Mother Earth.”
Roohi believes that environmental action can become a pathway to cooperation, compassion and peace across generations and borders.
Her dream is simple:
“My dream is that saving paper and saving trees will become a responsibility shared by every child, every institution and every citizen.”
The meeting with the Hon’ble Vice President has further strengthened Roohi’s determination to take her message from one child to millions of children, and from one small action to a movement for Mother Earth.
