இயக்குநர் சுசீந்திரனின் வெண்ணிலா புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகி வரும் ‘மார்கழி திங்கள்’ திரைப்படத்தின் வாயிலாக நடிகர் மனோஜ் பாரதிராஜா இயக்குநராக அறிமுகம் ஆகிறார். புதுமுகங்கள் முதன்மை வேடங்களில் நடிக்கும் இப்படத்தில் மிகவும் முக்கியமான ஒரு கதாபாத்திரத்தில் ‘இயக்குநர் இமயம்’ பாரதிராஜா நடிக்க உள்ளார்.
இப்படத்திற்காக 31 ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு பாரதிராஜாவும் இசைஞானி இளையராஜாவும் இணைந்துள்ளனர். அவர்கள் இருவரும் கடைசியாக இணைந்து பணியாற்றிய திரைப்படம் ‘நாடோடி தென்றல்’ ஆகும்.
தற்போது ‘மார்கழி திங்கள்’ திரைப்படத்திற்காக இருவரும் இணைந்துள்ள நிலையில் இளையராஜா இசையில் உருவான பாடல் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இப்பாடல் அனைவரின் இதயங்களையும் தொடும் என்று படக்குழுவினர் தெரிவிக்கிறார்கள்.
‘இயக்குநர் இமயம்’ பாரதிராஜாவும் அவரது மகன் மனோஜ் பாரதிராஜாவும் இணையும் இப்படத்தை தனது வெண்ணிலா புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் பேனரில் தயாரிப்பது குறித்து இயக்குநர் சுசீந்திரன் மகிழ்ச்சி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
பாரதிராஜா இயக்கிய ‘தாஜ்மஹால்’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் நடிகராக அறிமுகமாகி அதன் பிறகு பல்வேறு படங்களில் நடித்திருந்தாலும், தான் இயக்குநர் அவதாரம் எடுக்கும் முதல் படத்திலேயே தனது தந்தையை இயக்குவதற்கான வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்துள்ளது குறித்து மனோஜ் பாரதிராஜா மகிழ்ச்சியை வெளிப்படுத்தி உள்ளார்.
இயக்குநராக தனது முதல் படத்தை தயாரிப்பதற்காக சுசீந்திரனுக்கு மனோஜ் பாரதிராஜா நன்றி தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இயக்குநர் மணிரத்னத்திடம் ‘பம்பாய்’ படத்தில் உதவி இயக்குநராக மனோஜ் பாரதிராஜா பணிபுரிந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது, அதனையொட்டி அவரை சந்தித்து மனோஜ் ஆசி பெற்றார்.
அனைவரும் ரசித்து பாராட்டும் வகையில் இத்திரைப்படம் உருவாகும் என்று மனோஜ் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இசைக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொண்ட இக்கதையில் இளையராஜாவின் பாடல்களும் பின்னணி இசையும் முக்கிய பங்காற்றும் என்றும் மனோஜ் பாரதிராஜா கூறியுள்ளார்.

Actor Manoj Bharathiraja will make his debut as a director through a film titled ‘Margazhi Thingal’ bankrolled by Director Suseenthiran’s Vennila Productions. The film has newcomers in lead characters, while ‘Iyakkunar Imayam’ Bharathiraja plays a very important role.
Bharathiraja and music maestro Isaignani Ilayaraja have teamed up after 31 years for this film. The last film they worked together in was ‘Nadodi Thendral’.
With the two legends teaming up for ‘Margazhi Thingal’, a song composed by Ilaiyaraaja has been recorded, much to the happiness of everyone involved. The film’s crew says this song will touch all hearts.
Director Suseeenthiran is delighted over producing this movie, which will bring together ‘Iyakkunar Imayam’ Bharathiraja and his son Manoj Bharathiraja, under his Vennila Productions banner.
Manoj Bharathiraja expressed happiness that he got the opportunity to direct his legendary father in his maiden directorial venture, though he made his acting debut with Bharathiraja’s ‘Taj Mahal’ and has acted in various films since then.
Thanking Suseenthiran for producing his first film as a director, Manoj Bharathiraja expressed hope that the movie will be liked and appreciated by all. Manoj, who worked as assistant director to Mani Ratnam in ‘Bombay’, met the ace filmmaker and sought wishes for his directorial debut.
Manoj Bharathiraja also said that Ilaiyaraaja’s songs and background score will play an important role in this story which has got a huge scope for music.
