True no-nonsense horror franchises are a rare breed. Few films embrace the genre with genuine rituals, refraining from comedy and shallow tropes. Arulnithi and Director Ajay R Gnanamuthu have hit blockbuster gold with Demonte Colony. Both earlier parts grabbed the spotlight, and the duo is primed to captivate with Demonte Colony 3.
Adding more spark to the spine-shuddery element to Demonte Colony 3 is the hype revolving around ‘The Librarian’ character. Following the terrific reveal on New Year Day, the makers have now unveiled ‘The Librarian’: the shadowy mystery from part two’s end. Bringing in powerhouse actor Guru Somasundaram has lit the fuse. Gripping film glimpses and BTS footage ramp up the chills.
Demonte Colony 3 leads with Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Produced by Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios and Dangal TV, in association with RDX Media and Gnanamuthu Pattarai.
Director Ajay R Gnanamuthu says, “The librarian character will be one of the most exciting and pivotal character in the Demonte colony franchise. This character carries a legacy of evil and vengeance. The character demanded an artist who looks like an average middle class man but can get wild and commit cold blooded murders in no time. This characters basically needed an amazing performer and we were extremely glad to bring Guru Somasundaram on board who has done a splendid job in the film. Guru Somasundarams performance is surely going to be one of the main highlights of the film.”
The stellar cast of Demonte Colony 3 features Arulnithi, Priya Bhavanishankar, Antti Jaaskelainen, Guru Somasundaram, GM Kumar, Muthukumar, SreeKumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Kathir, Ashiq Hussain, Sarjano Khalid, Archana Ravichandran, and more. Sam CS scores the thrills, Sivakumar Vijayan handles cinematography, and Kumaresh D oversees editing.
Written and directed by Ajay R Gnanamuthu, Demonte Colony 3 is all set for the worldwide theatrical release for this summer. Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal, Durgaram Choudhary are producing this film.
