Uganda is absolutely safe – Says Henry Okello
The Minister invites investors, IT companies, Oil Refineries, and agriculture specialists to invest
in Uganda
Uganda is a PEACEFUL, PLEASANT and PROFITABLE country. It has had a very stable
government for the last 35 years, a very favorable investment climate and good economic
policies. Uganda with other East African Nations have embarked upon a massive infrastructure
improvement program.
While Interacting with the media, hon. Henry Oryem Okello said that the Uganda government
will give all clearances to Indian businesses within 48 hours. He assured a 10 year tax free
holiday with the land being awarded for free for setting up any factory, institution etc.
He is scheduled to meet the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M K Stalin, to invite him for the
100 year celebration of the Indian Association Uganda Business on September 29th and 30th in
Munyonyo Resort, Kampala.
