Only pay if you go, Shapeapp launched in the city enables you to pay for gym on hourly basis.
Have you ever spent a lot of money to purchase a one year or six month gym membership and have just gone for a week? Let us admit, we have all been there. So, what if we tell that you could now hit a gym on hourly basis at nominal rates and only pay for the days you hit the gym?
Shapeapp by Unique Angle Technologies, launched on Saturday promises you exactly that. The application was flagged off by Deewan to the Prince of Arcot, Nawabzada Dr. Mohammed Asif Ali and TN Amateur Body Building Association Secretary, M Arasu.
Having partnered with over 300 gyms in the city, Shapeapp will show the gyms near you based on your location. Once the app is downloaded, one can choose between the packages ranging from 50 hours to 200 hours. At the rate of Rs.50 per hour, the minimum package comes up to `2,500. There is no validity deadline.
“After you hit the gym, you have to scan the QR code to check in. Then, you can start exercising and the timer will run. When there are ten minutes left, the user will get a notification asking if he/she wants to continue for one more hour or leave. Simultaneously, the gym manager will also receive notifications,” explained Althaff Saleem, Ceo and Founder,Unique Angle Technologies, Shapeapp.
Also, another benefit is that, a user can transfer their hours to other users of the application, ensuring that no money spent is gone waste. Shapeapp can be download for free of cost on Android or iOS devices.
